The ingredients needed to make Rice Custard Pudding:
  1. Get 1/4 cup basmati rice
  2. Get 3 cups milk
  3. Get 6 tbsp sugar
  4. Make ready 2 tbsp custard powder
  5. Make ready 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  6. Prepare 1 pinch saffron
  7. Make ready 4 almonds
  8. Make ready 4 cashew nuts
  9. Take 1 tbsp raisins
Instructions to make Rice Custard Pudding:
  1. Wash rice and add it to a pressure cooker. Now add 3 cups of milk and cook it in the pressure cooker for 3 whistles. Let the pressure cooker cool down itself.
  2. Now add sugar and mix it well. Add custard powder in 2 tbsp of cold milk and add the slurry to the the rice mixture. Add a pinch of saffron and mix everything well. Now without covering the lid, cook everything on medium heat until it thickens. This will take around 7 to 10 minutes. Turn off the heat.
  3. Now add cardamom powder, raisins and slivers of almond and cashewnuts. Serve rice custard pudding warm or cold.
