The ingredients needed to make Boli:
  1. Get Dough:
  2. Take 1 cup All purpose flour (Maida)
  3. Prepare Pinch Turmeric
  4. Prepare Pinch Salt
  5. Get 1/2 tsp Sugar

  7. Make ready 2 tbsp Oil
  8. Prepare Filling:
  9. Get 1/2 cup Channa dal
  10. Get 1 cup Jaggery
  11. Make ready 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  12. Get 1 tbsp Ghee
Steps to make Boli:
  1. Sift the flour in wide bowl add turmeric, salt, sugar in the flour. Add water little by little and knead soft dough. - - Once the dough is ready coat the oil over the dough and allow to rest for 3 hours.
  2. Soak channa dal for 2 hours in water. Cook channa dal in pressure cooker. - - Once done reduce the flame and now add jaggery. Mix until jaggery melted nicely. Add cardamom powder. Saute until the mixture turns to thick, you should able to make small balls. Add ghee over it and mix.
  3. Cool the mixture. Make small balls and keep aside. Now take small portion of dough. Spread little bit keep the sweet ball in middle and cover the dough completely. - - Roll this into thin sheet. Toast this in tawa by adding ghee. Roast until both sides turns into golden colour.
  4. Serve hot….
